and warehousing companies to have met the stringent, internationally
accepted quality system standards set out by ISO. Recognized worldwide,
ISO standards provide organizations with a model for quality assurance
and quality management.
Being a process-driven
company with a commitment to key performance measurement, the ISO
registration of our facilities and transportation operations didn't
change a thing about J.D. Smith's business. Over the course of our
80-year history, quality has always been a hallmark of our operations:
our ISO registration is simply a formal acknowledgement of this
commitment to quality in everything we do.
