As COVID 19 continued to affect the health and financial wellbeing of so many across Canada, it was both important and inspiring to see so many individuals using their resources and time to help try to alleviate food insecurity. 

Scott rallied his Team at JDSmith and the Canadian transportation industry as a whole to help out families hardest hit by the events of the year.   

JDSmith, The Canadian Trucking Alliance and Trucks For Change delivered truckloads filled with food and essential items to the Daily Bread Food Bank.  The JDSmith Food Drive alone delivered 120,000 LBS of food to Ontario families in need.  Along with a considerable financial donation, JDSmith delivered trailers full of items like pasta, cereal, baby food and toiletries.
